Intex Recreation - VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
We purchased an Intex above ground pool a year ago. We experienced a very bad wind storm at the end of the season that blew over the pool as it had no water in it at the time.
I ordered some of the parts which I did receive but still needed 2 horizontal beams and 7 pins. The horizontal beams were not available through the web site so we called customer service. We could barely understand the rep but we were told those beams were out of stock with no estimated wait time, even though I just purchased 3 of them in April of this year. (2016) and tried to order the rest in June 2016.
All the rep kept repeating was "so sorry...so sorry" So sorry does not help us set up our pool which we paid over $1000 for. We also needed 7 of the pins. On the website you are only allowed to order 2 at a time charging $5 for a $3 order each time.Thats just pathetic! I have had to place 4 orders to get the amount of pins I needed.
Total of $12 for the pins plus $20 for S&H. What is the purpose of only allowing 2 pins at a time other than for Intex to charge S&H each time. I have tried unsuccessfully to locate the beams on line for less than $20 each when they only cost me $8.53 each through Intex. They offered no explaination or assistance with the situation.
I understand the parts are often out of stock but the company usually has an expected arrival date for the customer.
I WILL NOT be using or recommending INTEX Recreation ever. Very displeased customer!!
