Intex does not stand behind their products and customer service is a joke!
Issue still u resolved. My initial warranty replacement is still in limbo as intex wants me to pay return shipping for them sending out a non usable damaged part. And for the “new” part I purchased from their website and paid $50 for expedited shipping to only receive...
As a result my pool water is neon green. They now will not send another part until I return the others they sent at my cost! Im not paying for their mistakes. So I decided to purchase the replacement part from them since the warranty claim wasnt working and stalled out.
Intex sent me another refurbished/damaged/unusable part. Same as the warranty replacements. I know have a claim on that too but I have zero confidence I will get the new part and pd 2day shipping I purchased. My pool has been opened a little more than a week before Memorial Day and I havent been able to swim once.
The pool water is
A deep neon green and when the pump is on it shoots green water back into my pool. Per the pool store and a pool installation/service companies I consulted, I have to keep adding chlorine and keep the water circulating at a minimum to try and prevent more issues with my water. Im trying to salvage it as I had to have it delivered and it cost me $1500. So Im dumping about $50-$75 a week in water that wont get better all because I dont have a functioning part (6 way valve) from Intex.
They have provided no solution to my problem and I received the new part that was also damaged last Friday. I do have a complaint with the BBB, but theres only so much they can do. Intex customer service is the worst! Located in a foreign country and none of the reps speak English.
They cant transfer you to a supervisor and have no authority to help the customer at all. Just a bad experience with no resolution in site!

Preferred solution: The warranty claim fulfilled with a working part and a refund for the new part and 2 day shipping. I would also like to recoup some of my money I’m dumping into chemicals but I realize that may just be “the cost of doing business with Intex”!!
